“Certainly cheaper and more pleasant than going to a therapist.” Wow I really loved this one. What a great guy with a great attitude. And by the way I am a physician, and we always joke like he did that Orthopaedic Surgeons are medical mechanics. There is a lot of similarities in the screws, pins, hammers, wrenches, etc. Great job with this video.
Watching him dismantle an engine reaffirms why I love old machines. I rebuilt my RD and my friend’s CB750, and am currently rebuilding a Moto Guzzi V50, all of which has mechanical honesty and engineering elegance in the way they are put together. On the other hand, I really dread the day I’d have to rebuild my superquadro. As fantastic as they are, modern engines are really not a whole lot of fun to me. So strange…I mean, they are not that much different after all.
I loved this video. I’m not an expert on motorcycles, but I didn’t recognize anything that could be called “exotic”, “penultimate”, or “extraordinary”, either when it was built or now, yet this enthusiast has lovingly cared for and refurbished them so they can be enjoyed. He has a great attitude. I also really enjoyed the music; the first piece was delightful and unexpected and the second was really, really well-written. Good music underscoring great visuals is my favorite duo.
