Back in the early 80’s, I went to college in Michigan. One of my new found friends told me his dad was a doctor. So being a young smart ass, I said “bet he drives a white ’76 Eldorado Convertible with a red leather interior”. His jaw hit the ground and responded “how’d you know that?”. It was hilarious.
Not psychic, was just stereotyping.
Was not even going to watch this video.. actually was a little disappointed when i saw it was an old Eldorado. However once I pressed the play button it was a story like any other that Petrolicious makes us aware of.. The relationship of man and machine is the same if its a 25 million dollar Ferrari or in this case, the everyday mans trophy of opulence the good ole Eldorado. Nice choice to do a story on this pair. ( Owner + Automobile ).
Really, really cool!
I just found two early 70’s caddies for sale near my neighborhood (they are very very rare around here), but besides being expensive, I think I would have a lot of problema trying to manouver it in normal Portuguese roads (made for more “normal” cars).
Lots of love in this film!
Nice sountrack too!
Thanks Petrolicious!
