Two new appearance packages join a recently added one for Maserati as the Italian luxury carmaker looks to spice up its sales in the US and abroad.

Most recently, the Trident brand announced the Edizion Ribelle – the ‘Rebel Edition’ – for its entire line-up as well, exclusively for North America. This package bathes each car in Nero Ribelle Mica paint (read ‘black’) with black chrome accents on the exterior and 20-inch Dark Wheels, set off with bright red calipers. Inside, black leather sport seats are contrasted with red trim, while the center consoles are now in black carbon fiber. These are limited to 100 for the Ghibli S Q4, 100 for the Levante S, and 25 for the Quattroporte S Q4 in GranSport trim. Each special edition will arrive in March.

Also, again for North America, there’s the GT Sport package available for all 2020 Maserati models. This gives a more aggressive look to the range with touches such as new front and rear GranSport fascias, unique wheels and a choice of either red, blue or black calipers. There’s also high gloss piano black wood interior trim.

Finally, earlier this year, Maserati introduced the ‘Royale Special Series’ to Europe, which will be available for any 2020 Quattroporte, Levante and Ghibli, but only in the V6 range. Available in either ‘Blu Royale’ or ‘Verde Royale’, and limited to just 100 units worldwide, it’s a tribute to the 1986 Quattroporte Royale, and will receive touches such as shiny inserts inside, silver-coloured calipers and a special “one of 100” plate inside.
