The Famous XP5 Prototype McLaren F1 Will Join The World Debut Of The Senna GTR On Track At Goodwood

When the new McLaren Senna GTR, the company’s most extreme track car yet, makes its global debut at the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, on Saturday April 6, it will be joined by other Ultimate Series McLarens—and the famous XP5 prototype McLaren F1. The Senna GTR will lead the line-up on the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit ahead of a P1 GTR, a P1, a road-going Senna and the XP5 McLaren F1 prototype. This is the first time XP5, which held the world record for the fastest production road car for several years, will have been seen with its 21st century McLaren Ultimate Series descendants.

As for the track-only McLaren Senna GTR, it develops 814bhp and 590lb ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, and produces aerodynamic downforce in excess of 2205lbs. All 75 have been sold, at $1.65m plus taxes, with the first customers due to receive their cars this September.
