The Outlierman’s Limited Edition Pebble Beach Tie Is Now Available In The Shop

Isotta Fraschini is no longer the same company it was before the original iteration of the Italian manufacturer stopped producing automobiles a few years after the end of WWII. This can be framed as a sad end to a promising company, or instead we can celebrate what they did accomplish. We think it’s best to remember the good years, though it’s difficult to not feel a bit of bittersweetness when thinking about what could have been if the momentum had been maintained. Thankfully though, the opportunities to experience the original creations remain, and last weekend was a perfect opportunity seeing as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance honored the man and his marque for the 2017 edition.
The Outlierman was once again a partner to the prestigious event, and championed the Fraschini legacy in their own stylish way. Handmade in Italy by Italians using Italian silk, the Outlierman’s Isotta Fraschini tie is as authentically Italian as it gets.
Fraschini’s cars were regarded in their time (and today for that matter) as part of the roster of top-tier luxury cars, and the grace and elegance of their designs is still lauded today. To honor this ethos, the most famous models from the Milanese brand—the 8A and 8A Roadster, as well as the racing model Tipo FE—adorn the tie in a subtle but distinctive design. The cars all where the unmistakable purple hue belonging to the Isotta Fraschini 8A, while the grey background color adds the perfect amount of contrast and masculinity to the overall design.
The tie was produced in a one-run series, with most given to and worn by the judges and others responsible for making Pebble Beach the special day that it is. There will only ever be 50 available to the public though, so if you like automotive collectibles that you can actually get some utility from, this might be an attractive option.
