The Dino was originally produced as a companion make to V12 Ferraris until 1976, when it received full Ferrari badging. Starting with the mid-engined 206 GT, the Dino carved out its own piece of history with subsequent 246 GT and GTS models. Those were joined in 1973 by the Dino 308 GT4, not only Ferrari’s first mid-engined V8 model but also the first to be styled by Bertone. Its contemporary, angular lines were in sharp contrast to the Dino 246’s sensual curves. The GT4 was replaced by the Mondial in 1980.
This 1975 Dino 308 GT4 was bought from Fantasy Junction about 10 years ago and has had over $30k on upgrades, such as a Ferrari 328 motor, new electronic ignition, larger Brembos, adjustable shocks, and more. The interior, on the other hand, is claimed to be original. And “since it is a 1975, you don’t need to worry about getting the car smogged!” Comes with a host of spare parts including the original wheels, AC unit, and spare transaxle. With modern 1970s design and improved performance from stock, this Dino is attainable for the guy or gal lusting after a prancing horse.
