I have a 1979 R65 in my garage, so I know what he means when he says that he gets enjoyment just by going out there and looking at it. I found that my enjoyment doubled simply by replacing the stock, boxy valve covers with the older curvy ones (like he has).
It would be good to know what parts came from when. Looks like the engine is the only thing that is from the 70’s, and most everything else is from the 60’s.
I’ve been following this site for a few months, have gone through the back pages and loved many of the articles and videos here, but nothing made an impression enough to need to register & comment, but this one did. Beautiful bikes, tailor made and with so much class and personality. Mr. Augello has made something beautiful. I hope to make or be a part of something like this some day, hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for making this video.
