You may recognize the name TJ Grewal from our coverage of the Targa California, as he was our official photographer at that event a short time ago. When he’s not taking stunning photos of cars, he’s working on various art and illustration projects—including his latest shown here of the Plymouth SuperBird.
Simply illustrated and then silkscreened in a choice of the car’s original colors, Grewal’s abstraction of the Superbird helps the viewer see what the car really looks like.
“With the illustration I hoped to show the opposite of the real car,” Grewal writes in an email. “Its elegance and simple flowing lines really do exist, they’re just hard to ‘see’ given all the other distractions and scale of the car.”
