Mr. Stéphane Dufour was born in a small French town in the early 1970s. His childhood was spent playing and contemplating the fine automobile craftsmanship passing through his father’s workshop. His father repaired and serviced prestigious cars, authentic masterpieces which stimulated Stéphane’s imagination and would deeply influence this young boy’s day to day life. To relieve the boredom of small-town hours, Stéphane started sketching the cars he became so fond of, unaware that it would eventually become his career. While attending his first lessons at the Art Decos school of Limoges, he realized he could combine his passions for drawing and beautiful cars. Stéphane was unquestionably inspired by the cars of the 50s, 60s, and 70s–the three decades considered the pinnacle of car design and conception by all car amateurs.

Stéphane’s work is eclectic, running the gamut from Ferrari to Citroen. However, his love for Porsche shines through with numerous and honorable art works of unique German supercars. These paintings and drawings of epic Porsches, Le Mans prototypes and exceptional 911s, guarantee him international acclaim. Moreover the quality of his work was officially recognized by the Porsche firm, who have granted him over the past years a certified international license for artistic reproductions of the Zuffenhausen’s production.

An acclaimed automotive artist for over twenty years now, his works are often featured in automotive magazines and on display in museums and homes around the world. He is prolific and Stéphane’s works are innumerable, ranging from original paintings and drawings, limited prints, sculptures, to apparel. In his efforts to avoid boredom, Stephane works with every media possible, from oil paints, acrylic, gouache, colored pencils, and pastels to spraypaint, resin, clay, and metals. Stephane loves sharing his work with the world, but first and foremost he creates his pieces for himself, because it is his passion.
