In the United States, white cars have now become more popular than black or silver. Chief designer for BMW DesignWorks credits Apple for changing the public’s mind about the color.
“Prior to Apple, white was associated with things like refrigerators or the tiles in your bathroom. Apple made white valuable,” the designer told Motoramic.com.
