This woman has it right when she says, in effect, that the way to learn to control a car at the limits of traction is to start with a car that does not have much traction (or power) to begin with. 100 or 200 UTQG tires have huge grip right up to the moment when they don’t have any. A tire with firmer compound lets you know that you are in trouble long before you are out of options.
