I met Ciccio few years ago. I was on vacation in Cefalu and happened to be wearing a Ferrari t shirt. He was walking down the street and approached me when he noticed my shirt. At first I thought he was just a fellow enthusiast because he had a hat on that said “Racing is Life”. I had no idea who he was. I don’t really speak Italian and he didn’t really speak English but I understood when he told me he used to make racing shoes for Nikki Lauda. I wished I could have talked with him more!
