Sweet shoes. Go well with the sideburns and that classic Mercury fastback.

I had a 1971 Mercury Cyclone GT, the successor to this car, all through high-school and college. My mom drove it when new and I got it from her. We sold it just a few years ago (I had it in storage for a long time) as I decided I’d never restore it. I miss it when I see this video and often wonder where it ended up.

Finally, the title has changed. Beautiful car and camera work, that’s why I love petrolicius.

The back end just reminds me of a 70´s Ford Taurus coupe (sort of…)

I read somewhere that Sweden had the greatest amount of american muscle cars outside US (I know we´re talking about Norway, but it´s all upthere 🙂

How the hell did they got there?

Nice car and story!

Always thought the Cyclone (and its Torino twin) were some of the best looking sixties US muscle cars. I see one quite regularly at local events (might be the only one in the UK) and can never quite get over how long the rear deck seems to be.
Cool video as always.
