Design and color have a large part to play in the history of the automotive world. Here, we’ve married the two things together for the purpose of showcasing some automotive beauty.
A decade ago, orange cars began to appear on the market after being absent since the 1970s. During its resurgence, color experts thought orange was a short-term fad and wouldn’t last long, since the color doesn’t seem to be a flattering one to wear or drive. It seems those speculations were incorrect though, since orange is still around today. (Source)
Last July, GM’s Chevrolet division, which uses orange on performance cars like the Corvette and Camaro, said its experts predict “orange will remain a color trend in the future, transitioning from the bright, chic tint of today to a more burnt, coppery finish in the years to come.” (Source)
