E Type was a major game changer in terms of automobile design and it still look ahead of it’s time 50 years later.

Stunning car, and a great story, but OH MY GOD, you Yanks knew how to destroy the beautiful lines of what is perhaps the prettiest car ever to grace the face of the Earth. For Gods sake LOSE those bumpers and get that thing back to a UK / Euro spec look. There’s got to be 40 pounds of excess rubber, and at the rear it looks as if he’s backed the car into a couple of garbage bins! Same here, not the worst US spec bumpers of the seventies though, the Maserati Khamsin takes that honour.
