Celebrating Our First Year of Driving Tastefully

By Petrolicious
October 3, 2013

We recently celebrated the first anniversary of the launch of our site, and to mark this event, we’ve designed an infographic featuring things that we’ve accomplished and things that have happened in this first year. We can’t let this moment pass by without giving a huge thank you to all of our readers, fans, and petrol lovers out there. You are the ones we do this for, so thank you for being passionate about vintage cars, perfect driving roads, design, style, and of course, the stories shared between cars and their owners.

While you’re no doubt familiar with our videos and editorial work, what goes on behind the scenes might be a bit of a mystery. No, we don’t have a magical wizard hidden behind a curtain, but we are a team passionate enthusiasts who’ve consumed their fair share of espressos, captured thousands of gigabytes of footage, and even experienced our fair share of backcountry firearm discharges.

Even with so many early-morning wake-up calls and late nights at the office, there’s no place any of us would rather be. Here’s to many more years of Petrolicious, and as always, Drive Tastefully.

I’d like to add to the praise above.

I’m curious though to the production vehicle. What is it, what attention did it need in a year of use, how is it a good production vehicle and what do you still dream of?

Best wishes

Hello hello,

Love the site – I think you’ve created a really appealing branding and online experience that stands out completely from the many other sites I see. That little logo of the guy driving the car is great.

Your videos are brilliantly produced and show a real love for the subject matter – they’re always a real joy watch.

Right, well, that’s quite a lot of positives and there isn’t even a prize for this…

Cheers,

David.

Thank you for the great site and splendid videos.
Being owner of an old Volvo I would love to see videos on some classic Volvos, maybe on P1800 or 120 Amazon. And as an European point of view, you should not discriminate American classics.

Don’t confuse the sound of gunfire with the sound of a Stratos backfiring…
Congratulations and best wishes for the future. Maybe I can help contribute someday.

Cheers!
