The Fiat 8V Supersonic makes immediate sense. It’s coherent, confident, and visually resolved. What’s less obvious is why it looks the way it does. Built at a moment when optimism outpaced certainty, the car carries the language of aviation, speed, and postwar ambition without ever fully explaining itself.
Tucker Watson doesn’t try to elevate or reinterpret it. He lives with it. Cares for it. Understands its intentions and its limits. The Supersonic emerges not as an untouchable artifact, but as something rarer and more durable: a car whose value comes from restraint, stewardship, and the discipline to leave it alone
