The Concrete Dealer. How Louis Dos Santos Cements a Legend

by Kris Clewell -

Louis Dos Santos studied civil engineering. He fell for architectural concrete on luxury job sites. Then he filled a Tamiya RC body with cement on a whim, Porsche reposted it, and the phone started ringing. Three years later, his handmade concrete sculptures sit in over 10,000 homes. Every piece is designed from scratch, 3D-modeled, printed, cast in silicone, and poured by hand in San Diego.

The cars are the thing. A 930 Turbo. An E30 with a hidden pipe system that breathes incense smoke from the exhaust. A 1959 Brookwood lowrider with half-rolled windows that hotbox when you light the cone inside. His latest is a Porsche 917 K on a Petrolicious-branded plinth, limited to 100 numbered pieces and available now in the Petrolicious shop.
