Lime Rock Historics are Still Kicking Up Dust, 44 Years Later

The 44th running of Lime Rock's Historic Festival was built around cars that still race. Jocko Maggiacomo waved the green flag fifty years after he won the Trans Am title in an ex-Donohue Javelin, then held court on how he beat cars with deeper pockets.

Alfa Romeo was the featured marque, which put Miles Collier's 1964 Sebring-winning TZ on track, unrestored and running hard. None of these cars were made to sit still. The rest of the weekend, from the Thursday parade to a wet Monday, is in the recap.
