After the Soviet collapse, Armenia started from zero. Cars became barter currency. Dealerships didn't exist. The concept of a sports car belonged to a different reality entirely.
"Possibility of having a real sports car at that time was out of even any kind of imagination. This could have been only unreachable fantasy." Artem Simonyan in Yerevan made it his mission anyway. The Guards Red 964 he imported is the only one in the country. The air-cooled flat-six echoes through mountain roads where the car reveals what seemed impossible.
