His Florida Green BMW 1600, rescued after 17 years in storage, became the imperfect classic that forced him to focus, to learn, and to see meaning in unfinished stories. That path led him behind the camera and into Motoring While Black, a project documenting the human side of car culture.

Fantastic video (again). Yet more proof – if we needed any – that an interesting ride needn't cost the Earth nor be a firebreathing monster. And…Rashod has just the right approach and attitude in my eyes.
Welcome Rashod ….I almost bought a 1600 in orient blue, until i saw the floorboards where rusted out. I vacillated between an ‘02 roundie or squareback and then life got ahead of me, then marriage, then kids, during the interim prices of ’02 skyrocketed. Fast fwd to now …I got two e46T’s. One is a ZHP swap and the other s54 swap. Sadly I will be posting on auction in 2026.
I am sure your 1600 /e30 is much more fun to drive with the upgrades. Best of all …you don’t need to about emissions, …well done buddy
