I loved the sense of community with this restoration and the wonderful father and son partnership that brought this wonderful little Porsche back to life. A delightful tale.

Around 3:10 the themes do get very like Glass don’t they. Somehow I think that this isn’t Phil Glass: this is someone reaching to his harmonies and rhythms.

I’m guessing that hub wrench/puller that is being used at the start of the video was fabricated by the subjects, beautiful work…and the 356 isn’t bad either;-)

The 356 is pretty amazing. They said, credibly, that they have 800 hours of work in a bare metal, rotisserie mount, chassis restoration. And all the numbers match.

Dunno about the hub wrench. It is an odd thing, isn’t it? They certainly seem practiced with it.

A fascinating car . Not quite a restoration but not a resto – mod either . So perhaps a period correct resto – mod ? No matter what you call it though that is one of the tastiest 356’s I’ve seen in decades .

Yes I love how the whole vibe is 50s-ish. Too bad about the sticker on the door . . . Heuer didn’t become TAG Heuer until 1985!
