Herman Sylvain grew up in mainland China, where old cars did not survive long enough to be loved. Registration laws, emissions crackdowns, and scrappage programs erased anything with character. Years later, across the world, he found himself behind the wheel of a 1989 Alfa Romeo Milano Gold, one of the last true Alfas before Fiat's influence set in.
Known as the 75 in Europe, the Milano was never meant to be exotic, but time and attrition have turned it into something rare. Its 2.5 liter Busso V6 does not chase numbers. It chases feeling. It revs like it remembers where it came from.

Fantastic vehicle. In the UK I had the 3 litre & loved it – shame that it had to go eventually! Written off by someone I leant it to .. terrible shame!
