What does it take to build the perfect Jaguar E Type? This film follows Marco Diez and his decade-long journey to recreate the legendary 1963 Jaguar Low Drag Coupe, inspired by the one-off 49 FXN.
Hand formed from raw aluminum by RS Panels in the UK and powered by a 3.8 liter inline six with Weber DCOEs, this car is more than a replica, it’s a purpose-built escape. Fighter jet switchgear, a custom interior, and obsessive detail make it a singular machine of focus and function.  READ ARTICLE

The original FX-49 belonged to my father, Peter Lumsden. I heard many stories about it. How fabulous to see it has inspired another passionate person to re-engineer and personalise his version of a great design.
